Private Cloud Workload Hyper-Availability with Enterprise-Level Backup and Recovery

ENTERPRISE-READY BACKUP, RECOVERY AND MANAGEMENT
Centralized deployment and management Ensure Linux and Windows workloads are always available with centralized management, deployment, and monitoring of Veeam Agents through automated discovery-based protection groups (including Windows-based VMs in Active Directory)
Granular backup and recovery options Choose the data you want to back up from ZeroStack instances:

  • Entire Computer: Back up entire instance for fast recovery.
  • Volume level backup: Back up images of specified data volumes
  • File level backup: Back up individual files and folders
Multiple options for storing backups ZeroStack backups with Veeam(ZBackups) may be stored in following locations:

  • Network Shared Folder (NFS repository).
  • Backup repository managed by a Veeam Backup Server.
  • Clouds managed by a Veeam Cloud & Service Provider (VCSP).
Automated discovery of ZeroStack VMs to be protected The following discovery methods can be used for reducing administrative overhead and automation of ZeroStack workload backups:

  • Network-based discovery: Discover ZeroStack instances based on IP address ranges.
  • Active Directory discovery: Discover ZeroStack instances by importing a list of IP addresses from a CSV file.
  • Import-based discovery: Discover ZeroStack instances by importing a list of IP addresses from a CSV file.

Schedules may be created for automatically rescanning the protection group for new instances updating the Veeam Agents.

Self-Service Backups for Developers and Project Users

Back up and restore individual VMs, small development, tooling and production environments (e.g. LAMP/LEMP stack, DB servers, Jenkins servers, local repos) Safer and easier to manage than snapshots and reduces burdens on local image storage.
