ZeroStack Named a TiE50 2016 Top Start-Up Technology Award Winner
Company Recognized for Innovative Ultra-Converged Cloud Technology
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – May 6, 2016 – ZeroStack, a pioneer in self-service and scale-out private cloud, today announced that it has been selected as a 2016 Tie50 Top Start-up for the prestigious TiE50 Technology Awards Program. Winners were announced today at the organization’s annual entrepreneurial conference, TiEcon.

The ZeroStack Cloud Platform, based on OpenStack, is an ultra-converged cloud solution, which provides a software-driven private cloud that offers the ease-of-use of a public cloud, coupled with complete control and security. The cloud model is delivered through scale-out ZeroStack Cloud Building Blocks that integrate compute, clustered storage, software-defined networking (SDN) and management software running as part of a highly resilient control plane. This on-premises infrastructure is consumed and managed by the ZeroStack Cloud Portal, which provides analytics-based insights and optimizations for application deployment.

This year, the screening committee included 47 judges who are highly accomplished domain experts, senior executives, venture capitalists, and marquee technology entrepreneurs. The TiE50 program’s track record since its inception in 2009 shows an overwhelming 92 percent percentage of start-ups to get funded within one year of being recognized. About 130 Top Start-ups had successful exits so far.”
